about
I’m Kai — a computer-science researcher working on AI and machine learning. Papers are half of my job. This site is the other half: the tools, experiments, and notes that don’t fit in a PDF.
Why “kaichicken”?
Three reasons. It was available. It’s impossible to say without smiling. And it keeps the stakes honest: a domain with my real name on it would want a personal brand — a chicken just wants me to ship. If the work is good, it survives the silly name. That’s the bar.
What this place is
A container, not a product. One domain that any future thing can plug into — a demo, a tool, a blog, maybe a real product one day. I built it from scratch, partly as infrastructure and partly as practice, because I think researchers should ship. There’s a note on how it works.
